Parthiban would teach him lot of lessons in the comedy scenes that follow. These scenes are worthy enough to be shown to foreign return people who behave strangely like you mentioned. :)Shanmugahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04550314308674780004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901843.post-72062556233009118752008-06-01T14:23:00.000+05:302008-06-01T14:23:00.000+05:30Jambu,I think its like 'recursive' program. Our me...Jambu,

I think its like 'recursive' program. Our media and advertisements are just a reflection of our nature. As long as our people realize it and try to make an attempt to create something 'original' we continue to lead pseudo lives. Keep sharing such nice examples.Jayakumar Balasubramanianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14284472611141135192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901843.post-12870401770409474232008-06-01T14:21:00.000+05:302008-06-01T14:21:00.000+05:30Bill,I looked into Esperanto web site. But I am not supportive of replacing English in short term as it is been accepted as a universal language.

Thanks for sharing the info.Jayakumar Balasubramanianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14284472611141135192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901843.post-51858906060463286602008-06-01T12:44:00.000+05:302008-06-01T12:44:00.000+05:30Great Blog Anna!I could myself see the huge crowd ...Great Blog Anna!
I could myself see the huge crowd to listen to any speaker from abroad in my institute. Same crowd stay away when a person from same institute or some other institute in India gives a talk. We have somehow learned to follow some foreign nation's footsteps in every aspect of technology which is slightly acceptable considering the benefit we get out of them. But it is completely unacceptable when people in India follow other nation's language, culture, tradition etc even while staying in India just to satisfy their egos and feel great. Like the fair and lovely advertisement in your blog, media is the main culprit for changes in people's mentality and behavior. Newspapers like Times of India, TV channels like MTV and V-channel, reality shows in most TV channels spoil the Indian tradition and misguide people to follow other cultures which are obviously inferior to ours. This is a sad, bitter fact which we need to accept and learn to live with.Shanmugahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04550314308674780004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901843.post-5592580298502441122008-06-01T01:11:00.002+05:302008-06-01T01:11:00.002+05:30What an interesting contribution! I am not sure that English is as widespread or useful as people claim. I would like to argue the case for Esperanto as the international language.
It is a planned language which belongs to no one country or group of states. Take a look at www.esperanto.net

Esperanto works! I've used it in speech and writing in a dozen countries over recent years.

Importantly, Esperanto is intended as a second language for all. It is not intended to replace Tamil or Kannada or English.

What do you think?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10901843.post-41366485473885451232008-06-01T01:11:00.001+05:302008-06-01T01:11:00.001+05:30What an interesting contribution!
